nails of the week: funky colorful nails

This week I had my nails all painted in a different color and was expecting people to think that I'm 10-yrs old or something but I actually got a lot of compliments for them. 
Here's what they looked like (sorry they are already a little messed up):
 

If this is a little over the top for you, you could just paint your nails all in one color, choose one accent nail like for example the ring finger and paint this one in a different color to add a little twist to your nails. If you use complementary colors you get the greatest effect! Another possibility can be to use different finishes, like metallic, matte or glossy!
